Talk on Scope and Periphery of International Law

The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Souvik Roy, Dean, School of Law and Justice, who emphasized the growing relevance of international law in an interconnected world. Dr. S. Anandha Krishna Raj, Associate Professor of Law, VITSOL, VIT Chennai Law School, delivered an insightful lecture on the historical evolution, sources, and subjects of international law, its relationship with domestic systems, and emerging areas such as environmental law, human rights, and international trade. An engaging Q&A session followed, encouraging active participation from students and faculty.
