On 12 January 2026, the School of Law and Justice, Adamas University, hosted a virtual guest lecture titled “State Responsibility for Corporate Conduct in International Arbitration: High Stakes of Three Mistakes,” delivered by Dr. Oliver Hailes, Assistant Professor of Law at London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Part of SOLJ’s Distinguished Speaker Series, the session engaged undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty. The first 45 minutes featured Dr. Hailes’ presentation, followed by a 15-minute Q&A on public-private partnerships and shifting Corporate-State power dynamics in international arbitration.
