Dr. Aparup Pakhira holds a Ph.D. as an institute scholar from RGSOIPL, IIT Kharagpur in Corporate Law. He has completed masters in law from National University of Juridical Sciences with specialisation in cyber law. Out of his passion, Pakhira completed post graduation in Computer Application from Jadavpur University and cleared Cisco Certified Network Associate. Before joining ADAMAS Law School, he was associated with DSNLU Visakhapatnam and KIIT as an assistant professor and as legal advisor at Tata Motors.

Dr. Pakhira has immense research experience in the field of law. He worked as Research Assistant for the project “Use of Forensic Science in Criminal Trial” sponsored by Bureau of Police Research and Development, New Delhi. He also Worked as researcher in projects namely  “Incorporation of Corporate Governance in SME’s”, “Sexual Harrasment of Women at BPOs” and  “Copyright Protection of Handicrafts through Criminal Law” sponsored by NFCG and Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice and Ministry of Social Welfare, GOI respectively.

Pakhira’s thoughts and ideas are published in various international journals of repute. He has many publications in referred journals. His research interests pertain to Corporate Governance, Independent Director and Cyber Crime related issues of India. He likes to teach Company Law, Law of Contract, Cyber Crime & Cyber Forensic, Jurisprudence and Pleading & Drafting.
